St Martin’s College is a self-catered Residential College for students studying on campus at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. Our aim is to enable students accommodated with us to have a great University experience.
The College is made up of 12 x 8-bedroom cottages, each with its own kitchen, bathroom and common room. These cottages are designed to promote a community and family-like environment that is a secure, inclusive and positive base from which students can explore University life.
Our Fairfax Centre is a central meeting point of the College that provides opportunity to meet with students from across all cottages. It has recreational facilities, a commercial grade kitchen, a piano, a keyboard, a pool table, table tennis, as well as a large screen TV with Netflix access and IT facilities and a common study area.

Your Daily Life
A student’s life is a busy life and it can be a lonely one too. St Martin’s College is a small community (max. 98 students) where every member is respected and valued. St Martin’s supports your day-to-day living by collecting your mail and cleaning your room, and by providing laundry and cooking facilities.
Your Studies
St Martin’s offers study skill support, peer tutoring, a study common with computing, printing, binding and photocopying services. We also provide academic advocacy and advice when needed. And there are scholarships!
Your Concerns
Whether it’s assessment deadlines, exam pressures or relationship matters, if you’re stressed about things we offer personal support through our Residential Advisors and the Head of College. We also love to celebrate your successes.
Your Future
We offer you security of accommodation: once you have a place in St Martin’s College and provided there are no breaches of rules, you may keep your accommodation for your entire degree and do not need to reapply each year. You can even have the same room for your entire degree!
